About the Event
The Viscadia Forecasting Workshop is a focused, in-person experience built for professionals who rely on forecasts to guide business decisions. Led by Viscadia’s forecasting specialists, it moves beyond theory to examine how forecasts are built, interpreted, and applied in real-world commercial scenarios.
Our workshop blends expert-led sessions with facilitated exercises, applied case discussions, and peer exchange that reflect the cross-functional reality of how forecasting operates inside organizations. With content designed for the whole team, from early-career forecasters to insights and finance partners, it’s a space to challenge assumptions, align stakeholders, and strengthen how forecasts drive outcomes.
Agenda Overview
- October 6 — Welcome Networking Reception: An informal evening at the Westin Arlington to connect with fellow attendees and the Viscadia team before the workshop begins. Meet with peers, build connections, and prepare for two days of immersive learning.
- October 7 — Workshop Day 1: A full day of structured, track-based learning, opening with a conversation on forecasting as a business discipline before moving into applied, in-depth content across all three tracks. Learn how forecasting models are designed and built, covering pipeline, launch, and mature asset forecasting, followed by a night out in Washington, D.C.
- October 8 — Workshop Day 2: Building on Day 1, the second day advances into more of the complexities and nuances of forecasting across the product lifecycle. The floor is open for attendees to share any challenges they’ve faced in their own work and processes. The day closes with a session on AI’s role in forecasting, examining existing and new approaches.
