About the Role
We are seeking strategic and detail-oriented Sr. Specialist – Pre-Sales to support our client development. This is a non-client-facing role that works closely with global sales leaders to shape solution narratives and enable business development efforts. The role also includes supporting lead generation initiatives (no cold calling), managing a team of two, and maintaining a repository of reusable sales assets.

Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Support & Enablement
- Collaborate with global sales and marketing teams to understand client contexts, solution needs and engagement strategies.
- Support RFP/RFI responses, proposal development, and pitch material creation, as needed.
- Provide domain and functional input to help shape solution narratives and delivery approaches.
- Assist with the development of PPT slides, outreach for conferences, and logistical support.
- Has ability to manage and guide two direct reports (Analyst, Specialist) in sales support.
Lead Generation Support
- Work closely with client develop leadership and marketing teams to identify and qualify potential leads based on industry trends, client needs, and strategic priorities.
- Assist in developing outreach materials, capability decks, and tailored messaging for target accounts (should understand pharma pipeline development structure)
- Analyze past proposals and engagements to identify patterns and opportunities for proactive outreach.
Content & Knowledge Management
- Maintain the MSA / CDA database and note expiration dates. Add to HubSpot.
- Own and manage a centralized repository of proposals, pitch decks, and stock slides to support global sales efforts.
- Ensure all content is version-controlled, up-to-date, and aligned with current offerings and messaging.
- Curate reusable assets including case studies, solution templates, pricing frameworks, and capability overviews.
- Maintain the MSA / CDA database and note expiration dates. Add to HubSpot.
- Working knowledge of ZoomInfo.
Internal Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between sales, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on messaging and solution positioning.
- Contribute to pipeline reviews, deal qualification, and sales strategy discussions.
Qualifications
Required
- At least 5 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, proposal management and business development support in a consulting or professional services environment within life sciences.
- Strong understanding of consulting delivery models, project scoping, and sales enablement processes.
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing content libraries or repositories.
- Familiarity with proposal management tools, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and project planning tools.
- Experience in life sciences: analytics, market research and forecasting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across global stakeholders and direct reports.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and opportunities from historical sales data.
