About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Specialist – Pre-Sales to support our client development team. This is a non-client-facing role that works closely with the pre-sales Sr. Specialist and pre-sales analyst to support lead generation initiatives including: develop background summaries to help sales leadership prepare for client meetings; prepare new business slides and decks as required; maintain a repository of reusable sales support assets.

Roles and Responsibilities

Sales Support & Enablement

  • Develop information backgrounders prior to new business meetings to inform the client development team as to strategic initiatives, therapeutic and asset priorities, status of pipeline and inline assets, M&A activity, and insight into focus of the client team with whom we are meeting.
  • Help shape solution narratives and delivery approaches based on findings from the Neighborhood Watch program in conjunction with the pre-sales Sr. Specialist.
  • Assist with the development of PPT slides, the analysis and outreach for conferences, and logistical support as needed.
  • Work in concert with the pre-sales Sr Specialist to collaborate with the Marketing team on an on-going basis.

Lead Generation Support

  • Assist in developing outreach messaging, capability decks for target accounts.
  • Support Neighborhood watch initiative to inform outreach efforts.
  • Use the tools within ZoomInfo and design outreach for client development based on learnings provided by this tool.

Internal Collaboration

  • Respond to sales, delivery, and marketing teams when help is needed.
  • Contribute to pipeline reviews, and sales strategy discussions when necessary
  • Team player. Works well as a collaborator.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2-4 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, proposal management and business development support in a consulting or professional services environment in life science.
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
  • Some experience managing content libraries or repositories is desired.
  • Familiarity with proposal management tools, CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot), and project planning tools.
  • Working knowledge of ZoomInfo is needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently yet collaborates well with our consulting and marketing teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to find, organize and display data / information in a clear manner.
  • Open minded, desires to develop client development functional and operational skills and grow into a more senior role.
  • Exhibits a positive, can do attitude.
