About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Consultant to join our India team in Gurgaon. This role is a critical execution and solutioning leadership position within our forecasting platform initiative. The individual will lead the design and delivery of data- and AI-enabled solutions, working closely with Managers and senior leadership while directly guiding team of developers, and engineers.
The individual will serve as the technical and delivery lead on defined workstreams, translating business and forecasting requirements into scalable, high-quality data and analytics solutions for our clients. The role requires strong hands-on expertise, structured problem-solving, and the ability to mentor junior team members while maintaining high delivery standards.

Roles and Responsibilities
Solution Design & Execution
- Lead the design and development of frontend, backend, cloud, analytics, and AI components within Viscadia’s forecasting and analytics platforms.
- Act as Product Owner for assigned workstreams, translating client and business needs into a prioritized product backlog, clear technical designs, data models, and implementation plans.
- Develop and deliver POCs and pilots to validate new data, analytics, or AI use cases in pharma forecasting and commercial analytics.
- Lead end-to-end execution of defined solution modules within client engagements, from requirements gathering to deployment and handover.
- Build and optimize ETL workflows, data models, and analytical datasets to support forecasting, dashboards, and advanced analytics.
- Contribute to AI/ML-enabled features such as automation, intelligent data validation, forecasting accelerators, or decision-support tools.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams comprising frontend developers, backend engineers, data engineers, and senior developers.
- Provide day-to-day technical and product guidance, ensuring alignment on architecture, coding standards, and delivery expectations.
- Review designs, implementations, and outputs to ensure accuracy, scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- Train and upskill junior and senior team members on platform patterns, tools, and delivery standards.
- Own delivery timelines and dependencies for assigned workstreams, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Client Management
- Act as a primary execution-level client contact for assigned modules, clearly communicating progress, risks, and technical decisions.
- Work closely with Managers to align solution delivery with broader engagement objectives and client expectations.
- Support requirement discussions and solution walkthroughs with client stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.

Innovation and Intellectual Capital
- Contribute to the development of internal accelerators, reusable components, and best practices for the forecasting platform.
- Support innovation initiatives by researching emerging tools, techniques, and AI applications relevant to pharma analytics.
- Research, evaluate, and prototype emerging tools, platforms, and AI techniques relevant to pharma analytics and forecasting.
- Help document solution patterns, technical standards, and learnings to build firm-wide intellectual capital.
Qualifications
Required
- 5–8 years of experience in technology consulting, platform delivery, data engineering, or advanced analytics roles, preferably within pharma or life sciences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or Master’s with a strong technology or analytics focus preferred.
- Strong hands-on and leadership experience across data engineering and ETL pipelines, as well as frontend and backend integration for analytics platforms or productized solutions.
- Proven experience delivering cloud-native solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, and/or Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data management, data quality, governance, and security principles in enterprise environments.
- Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end solution and platform development in a technology consulting context, spanning product definition, architecture, sprint execution, and enterprise-scale delivery across data, cloud, and AI ecosystems.
- Strong structured problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical audiences.
Key Skills
- Experience owning or contributing to AI-enabled features, including automation, intelligent data validation, forecasting accelerators, or decision-support solutions.
- Experience building or leading BI, dashboards, and reporting solutions for business or commercial analytics.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts and applied analytics in forecasting, commercial, or decision-support use cases.
- Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, Reltio) or complex master-data ecosystems.
- Familiarity with pharma commercial data, forecasting processes, and life sciences analytics workflows.
- Comfort operating in unstructured problem spaces, driving clarity, prioritization, and solutions to closure.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client or internal engagements.
