About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst – Pre-Sales to support our client development team. This is a non-client-facing role that works closely with other pre-sales team members in our India Office. This role includes supporting segmentation of prospects who will be attending pharma conferences that Viscadia will attend to identify our profile of target prospects. Also, this position will be expected to scour our database daily to uncover newsworthy information that sales leadership can use in its outreach to potential clients. We call this pre-sales effort, the “Neighborhood Watch”. It is an on-going endeavour.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the sorting and prioritization of conference attendees who meet specific criteria for targeting by our Client Development team.
- Ability to (interest in) sift through a wide variety of med-science, clinical trials, pharma industry publications and databases to extract newsworthy tibbits of information for use by client development is required.
- Support other pre-sales initiatives as needed.
- Team player. Works well as a collaborator.
- Prepare PPT slides and Excel files as requested by senior client development team members.
Qualifications
Required
- 1-2 years of experience in pre-sales work, data analysis, or sales support work is ideal.
- Ability to write and speak American Business English is required.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word is required.
- Able to work in the Gurgaon office per company policy is required.
- Some experience in life sciences, analytics will be very helpful.
- Exhibits a positive, can-do attitude every day.
- Science or technology degree needed.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
- Ability to work independently yet collaborate well with a team is needed.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to find, organize and display data / information in a clear manner.
- Open minded, desires to learn client development (sales) functional at a consulting organization as well as learn the operational skills need to progress to a more senior role. role.
